Research Associate – Codesign and Creative Engagement
School of Innovation and Technology
Glasgow based
Grade 6 (£36,024 – £41,732) per annum, pro rata
Fixed term

Applications are invited for a part time Research Associate – Codesign and Creative Engagement within the School of Innovation and Technology (SIT) department at GSA.

This is an exciting opportunity and the successful post holder will be asked to support the SIT researchers in the delivery of a programme of research and knowledge exchange activity focused on the research themes of Design Innovation in Action and Enabling Creativity. You will also support the planning, delivery and dissemination of SIT’s growing portfolio of ‘Creative Engagement’ research projects with academic, business and civic partners.

The successful candidate will have the following experience, knowledge and skills:

Educated to postgraduate degree level in design or equivalent in work experience
A knowledge of current design research
Experience of designing, facilitating and documenting collaborative multi-stakeholder workshops
Excellent communications skills, with strong written and interpersonal skills
Ability to build strong and productive working relationships with both internal and external partners and colleagues
Experience and understanding of working in a research environment

This role is fixed term for 5 months. The hours of work are 14 per week. You will be based in Glasgow but there will be opportunities to work across locations.
