Mission Statement

Based on its Catholic inspiration, values, and academic excellence, Universidad de Monterrey educates human beings with a holistic approach, so that they may contribute to building a sustainable society, seek transcendence in service to others, and reach plenitude.

International Role

UDEM offers 1,212 academic exchange options through 478 agreements with 1,079 higher education institutions from 71 countries. Our internationalization model expands across all levels of UDEM and encourages academic experiences abroad. The model also includes the internationalization of the University itself, offering curricular and co-curricular activities, both on campus and online, with the goal of broadening the cultural horizons of students, in addition to inviting professors from other countries to impart classes at the University.

National Role

UDEM holds important national and international distinctions which reflect our ongoing commitment to offer high-level programs. Since 1997, the Federación de Instituciones Mexicanas Particulares de Educación Superior (FIMPES) has assessed UDEM and awarded its highest distinction (fully accredited) on three occasions for the excellence of UDEM's processes, programs, and services. Furthermore, UDEM is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and the Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral degrees.

Main Focus

At UDEM, we have closely analyzed changes in academic matters, and in organizational, labor, and social structures, and we are confident that this new phase brings challenges and many advantages. Thanks to technology, we understand the preferences of our community, make decisions based on data, and provide an agile offer according to each person’s needs.
