Mission Statement
Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts in Tilburg, The Netherlands, provides higher professional education on Bachelor and Master degree level in the field of art education, performing arts and science. The development of creative talent is one of our key-goals. Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts offers you an inspiring learning environment in which you acquire knowledge and develop the skills you need to be successful in a rapidly changing art world. We house 18 different art disciplines under one roof!
International Role
Internationalisation plays a major role at all levels at Fontys, it is part of our DNA. We highly value international learning community and are grateful for our close relationships with partners from the field, partner universities and professional associations. We embrace our close relationships by exchanging expertise and knowledge and through cocreation (lively student & teacher exchange, strategic collaboration projects, assignments from enterprises implemented in the curriculum, events etc.)
National Role
Our academies are favourite meeting places for governemental and Non-Profit organizations, enterprises and professional associations. We bring these parties together in order to make each other stronger by exchanging expertise and knowledge on all levels (student-centered, challenge-based, etc.). Societal impact is one of our drivers.
