The Faculty of Creative Studies
The Faculty of Creative Studies, FaCrea, has been offering interdisciplinary and comprehensive education since 2020, aimed at nurturing professionals with creative and innovative perspectives. It is a talented and passionate community that integrates architecture, the arts, design, musical theater, creative and cultural industries, crafts, and artisanal knowledge into a singular educational and experiential journey.
The Faculty offers five undergraduate programs: (1) Arts with minors in Visual Arts, Digital Arts, and Performing Arts; (2) Architecture with minors in Sustainable Architecture, Ephemeral Architecture, and Urban and Regional Design. (3) Design with minors in Industrial Design, Visual Communication, Fashion and Textile Design, and Animation and Video Game Design. (4) Musical Theater with immersive studies in Performance, Pedagogy, and Production. (5) Creative Studies with a minor degree in Creative Industries, and encompassing all of the above minors.
Additionally, the Faculty boasts a successful musical theater production company known as MISI Production Company, a musical theater school for kids and teens named MISI Musical Theater School, a creative school for all ages known as MISI Creative Workshop, and a consulting center in creative and cultural industries called Creative Factory.

We are seeking 5 Full-time Faculty members for the Faculty of Creation in the following areas:
- History and Theory of Art, Architecture, and Design
- Visual Communication
- Fashion Design
- Experience and Service Design
- Computational Design

- Technique and Technologies in Architecture
- Digital Media and Fabrication in Architecture
- Social and Participatory Architecture
The faculty members will be appointed under an indefinite-term contract in one of the following categories: Principal Career Professor[1] (2 positions), Associate Professor[2] (1 position), or Teaching Professor[3] (2 positions), based on evaluation and established guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Undergraduate and Master’s Degree in the Relevant Areas
- Desirable: PhD in related fields (PhD is a requirement for the area of History and Theory of Art, Architecture, and Design).
- Minimum of five (5) years of certified work experience in the relevant areas.
- Minimum of one (1) year of certified teaching experience in the relevant areas.
- Proficiency in English or a second language at a certifiable B2 level (required for the position of Career Professor).
- Demonstration of academic and professional expertise in one of the disciplinary areas of the recruitment through a digital portfolio, including publications, products, processes, or research and creative projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct courses within the Faculty.
- Undertake creative projects, research+creation, and/or research activities.
- Serve as a mentor to undergraduate students.
- Participate in educational projects.
- Collaborate on Faculty projects and consultancies.
- Foster relationships with the public and private sectors.
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

- Link to an instructional video on YouTube or Vimeo, lasting no more than 5 minutes, in which the applicant explains the process and insights gained during the development of a professional, research, or creative project of their own or in which they participated, related to the disciplinary areas of the recruitment. The YouTube or Vimeo video link should be inserted at the beginning of the CV.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of two stages, involving the assessment of resumes, portfolios, and the tutorial video. A minimum score of 80% in the first stage is required to proceed to the second stage, which includes interviews.

- October 23rd to November 10th, 2023: Evaluation and Interviews.
- November-December 2023: Notification.
