Join us at RSD15, the 15th Relating Systems Thinking and Design Symposium organised by Systemic Design Association and hosted by Sys – Systemic Design Lab at Politecnico di Torino. This year’s theme, “Shades of Systemic Design”, explores how design engages with complex societal and ecological challenges through a plurality of approaches, contexts and ways of knowing.
We welcome a wide range of contributions, including methodological reflections, project-based contributions, and case studies. The purpose of RSD15 is to create a space for dialogue and reflection on geographies and ecologies, pedagogies and methods, visions and ontologies, practices and tools.
Event dates:
• 8–9 October 2026: online sessions
• 13–16 October 2026: in-person event at Politecnico di Torino, Turin (Italy)
Submissions may take different formats:
• Full/short papers
• PhD colloquium
• On-site workshops & interactives
• Contribution for the exhibit “Data in relation”
Deadlines:
Intent to submit – by communicating title & author(s) → April 24, 2026
Final submission for Workshops and exhibition/map briefs → May 8, 2026
Final submission for papers (long & short) and PhD Colloquium papers → May 22, 2026
