Join us at the Annual General Assembly of Cumulus that will take place on:
Friday, 6 June 2025 at 2.00 PM – 5.30 PM local time CEST (UTC-2) (Nantes, France)
(12:00 PM – 3:30 PM UTC / Coordinated Universal Time) (please check your time zone here).
The General Assembly is the highest authority in the Association and shall exercise the decision-making power of the Association. Associate Members and members of the Executive Board shall have the right to attend and speak at the General Assembly but not vote. This General Assembly will be hosting the elections of the Cumulus Executive Board and Presidency for 2025-2028. Learn more about the elections here and get to know the candidates here.

Please note, that only ONE PERSON from each Cumulus member institution can join the General Assembly. This means that only one representative can be registered. Participation, whether online or onsite, requires registration. If you have already registered to the conference through ExOrdo, we will cross-check the lists.
Are you participating onsite? Please fill in the form and join us at the Halles 1&2, 5 All. Frida Kahlo, 44200 Nantes, France. The registration status and identity will be checked at the door.
Are you participating online? Please fill in the form and connect to the session via Zoom. The Zoom-link will be sent closer to the event and only upon registration. Check and double-check that you have provided a correct email address.
Are you participating in absence? If you are a Full Member and you cannot join the GA onsite nor online, please nominate another Full Member’s representative with proxy authorization. The proxy letter must be submitted in writing to the Cumulus Secretariat (to [email protected] or [email protected]) prior to the close of the registration for the General Assembly. A Full Member’s representative shall not represent more than two (2) other Full Members.
Voting
Voting will be possible only during the GA session at the assigned moments. Please note your registered email is needed to vote. You need to have access online to cast the vote.

This session is open to representatives from all Cumulus member institutions.
The General Assembly shall be validly constituted if one half of the Full members are present or represented.
It is desirable that an individual member institution (university, college, or academy) shall be represented by its Rector/President/Vice-Chancellor or by the Rector’s nominated representative. It is also desirable that a faculty or school shall be represented by its Director, Dean or Head or by a representative nominated by the Director/Dean/Head.
The GA takes place during the Cumulus Conference Nantes 2025: Ethical Leadership/A New Frontier for Design, hosted by the L’ecole de Design Nantes on June 3-7, 2025, in Nantes, France. The full conference participation requires a ticket and the conference registration is open here.
