Rooted in the Jesuit humanistic tradition of Universidad Iberoamericana, the department promotes an educational model that integrates cultural awareness, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ethical reflection.
Through this approach, students are encouraged to understand design not only as a professional discipline but also as a cultural and social practice capable of contributing to more inclusive, sustainable, and responsible futures.
International Role
The department maintains academic exchanges and collaborations with institutions and organizations worldwide. Students and faculty participate in international workshops, exhibitions, and collaborative research initiatives.
The department is currently engaged in the renewal process of Substantial Equivalency with the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), strengthening its alignment with international academic standards and reinforcing its commitment to global dialogue in design education.
National Role
