Mission Statement

To contribute to the education of designers who, based on a solid disciplinary formation and endowed with a profound reflexive, critical and creative spirit; influence the development of their profession, culture and society, in a collaborative academic community of excellence.

 

International Role

The design school has more than 40 collaboration agreement with international universities from Europe, North America and Latinamerica. It aims to promote participation and academic projects, implementation of workshops, exchange of students and teachers and participation in congresses and seminars in order to contribute to the development and knowledge of the discipline and improve the quality of the student teaching and learning process.
 

National Role

The Design School promotes the development of collaborative programs and projects that may positively impact in the development of society through formative linking initiatives, academic and collaborative development in disciplinary and professional fields, research and social, cultural and artistic innovation. FOR this purpose has several collaboration agreements with the national productive sector, NGO’s, public and private entities and higher education institutions.

Main Focus

The School of Design focuses its education on Graphic Design and Interior and Equipment Design.
