Mission Statement
The mission of Anadolu University is to contribute to universal knowledge and culture through education, research and projects in the fields of science, technology, arts and sports, to provide high-quality and specific distance and on-campus learning opportunities to individuals at any age and to produce creative and innovative solutions in line with community needs, with a view to improving the life quality of people in the city, region, country and world.
International Role
In accordance with our vision, our University gives utmost importance to all international programs & projects.
National Role
Anadolu University is in cooperation with the national and regional sectors. Especially it contributes to ceramic works, specific to our region, in terms of both research and education studies. Apart from cooperations with business sectors, Anadolu university is quite sensible to community needs. Our campus has numerous facilities for handicapped students at every level from kindergarten to university ages. The studies for handicapped students also include education programmes for their parents. Other multiple cooperation fields of our university are conducted with the other national universities and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBITAK). These multiple cooperation studies make important contributions to the scientific researches of our country.

The university can finance itself both for pedagogical studies and wide range of research activities. All of the areas are supported equally and effectively but, according to other areas, Engineering studies seems to use much more of the budget as it requires to use more expensive equipments.
