Mission Statement
Accademia Unidee's mission is to transform the social system through research and education, and proposing an educational model inspired to Michelangelo Pistoletto’s project of the Third Paradise, a symbol and a new imaginary for a balanced connection between nature and artifice. Its educational proposal is addressed to anybody wanting to act as contemporary innovators with the awareness of someone who knows the complexities of the global world. It operates in the paradigm of Social Innovation (the Innovation Policy of the European Union, 2013), assumes the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals and refers to new concepts and ideas meeting local and global social needs.
International Role
Accademia Unidee would achieve an international positioning based on quality and sustainability and on a continuous dialogue with the most important international institutes of education and research.

National Role
It is an institution of excellence operating in the MITO hub (Milan Turin + Genoa area), compensating for the absence of a fine arts academy in a culturally and economically strategic region of Italy.

Main Focus
Accademia Unidee offers bachelors and masters specially focused on social innovation and sustainability, with a special attention of technology and cultural studies. Our model is based on 4 strategic axes + 1: knowledge, awareness, responsibility, ability to create and art (which is transversal, because art is the engine of change, and it is present everywhere).

Each of the courses Accademia Unidee does, it is traversed by these departments and disciplines. Because today it is necessary to bring together human sciences and economics, business and critical thinking, art and technology. The departments guarantee the solidity of what is taught and learned. Sustainability, however, is transversal, and for us it is represented by the 17 objectives of the UN, one of our fundamental partners.
