Mark Rosin will introduce colour as a physical phenomena in nature, lighting, and technology. His approach will be grounded in understanding light –and therefore colour– as a wave phenomenon with spectral properties that can explain a wide range of effects, from accent lighting, colour temperature, mood lighting, illumination and reflectance spectra, and a wide range of optical illusions.
The Colour Literacy Forum is a virtual platform featuring presentations and interactive conversations focused on updating and expanding 21st-century colour education at the university level. This global collaboration aims to develop an interdisciplinary STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) model that aligns colour education with current cultural needs, provides cutting-edge resources, and offers dynamic networking opportunities for all stakeholders.
