My trans-cultural background and perspective influence my worldview and work, which is grounded in horizontal and pluriversal methodologies and centers codesign methods to collectively shape our worlds. The majority of recent design research experiences have been in collaboration with Indigenous entrepreneurs in rural Mexico, subject matter experts, and students — focused on grassroots economic development, building sustainable environments, and making invisible histories and Indigenous knowledge visible.
