Full professor of Communication/Interaction/Transmedia Design in the BD in Design and Art and founder of the PhD in Experimental reasearch through Design, Art and Technologies (EDAT) of the Faculty of Design and Art, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
Architect, PhD in Industrial Design and Multimedia Communication (Politecnico di Milano).
Previously researcher/assistant professor at the Department of Psychology of the University of Milano-Bicocca (Theory and Thecnology of Communication; Psychosocial Science of Communication), contract professor at the Politecnico di Milano (Design), the University of Bologna (Internet Science) and the Milan State University (Digital Communication). Coordinator of the Thematic Commission Theoretical, historical and critical research and editorial projects of the Permanent Observatory of the ADI Design Index, preselection of the Compasso d’Oro Award (2017-21).
Research and design topics since 1995: interaction, user experience and multimodal interface design, media studies, visual and socio-spatial representation, with a strong focus on technologies evolution, and accessibility mainly in the field of Cultural, Intangible, Digital, Landscape Heritage and Digital Archives.
