Catarina Pais

Catarina Pais is the Assistant to the Dean’s Office.

She holds a degree in Architecture from Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto (FAUP) and has obtained Certifications related to Inclusive Learning Design and Learning Management Systems, such as Canvas and Moodle. She is currently enrolled in a Full Stack Development programme.

Before joining IE, Catarina worked for over nine years as the Interior Design Programs Manager at mindway, where she supervised and organized the academic team, as well as mentoring and coordinating 8 training programmes and teaching interior design related classes, both in English and Spanish. She also worked as an Academic Manager at Global Alumni, preparing the academic calendars for several programmes and supervising the Virtual Campus.

Catarina also worked as a translator at Grupo Alava Ingenieros, editing the company’s Portuguese web page content and translating several documents.
