International Role
HEAD – Geneva bases its openness to the world through its international faculty, exhibitions and transnational projects. It promotes the academic mobility of students, teachers and researchers, and actively supports study trips and numerous partnerships around the world.
Japan, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, Senegal, Lebanon, Norway… on each continent, HEAD-Geneva is developing a network of partner schools in which each student can venture for a semester or a year on a mobility stay, in both Bachelor's and Master's programmes.
With mobility grants, HEAD-Geneva encourages students to take the plunge.
Reciprocally, the school welcomes exchange students from schools all over the world. These perpetual flows contribute to the diversity and richness of the campus, which is animated by very cosmopolitan teaching and research teams, which guarantee the constant evolution of the school's teaching.
Exhibited or distributed at fairs, exhibitions, biennials and festivals, the projects of HEAD – Geneva students travel and offer their authors a high level of artistic visibility. HEAD – Geneva maintains links with Swiss embassies abroad, in particular with the offices of Pro Helvetia and Swissnex in North and South America, India and Asia. The school regularly takes part in events of global importance such as the Salone internazionale del Mobile in Milan, the Watch Week in Hong Kong, the Berlinale, the Berlin Film Festival and the Hyères International Fashion and Photography Festival. Finally, residencies and Summer Schools are organized in the United States, at the Swiss Institute in Rome and in Chile, maintaining an openness to the world even outside the academic calendar. At HEAD – Geneva, internationalization is a shared value.
