Women in Design is a CWG that presents a platform for exchange, inspiration, and mentorship. The aim of this CWG largely composed of women, and for women, is to discuss challenges, share experiences and start building a global network of women in design to support and promote each other. The group posits that this is an opportune time to create an arena for women in design across the world and that there is a potential for supporting and empowering women in design to have the courage to take on visible, leadership positions that can help design fulfill its potential and make a real difference in society.
The work of this CWG is aligned with SDG 5 and is positioned to contribute to a more inclusive and democratic society and aspires to be a resource for women’s career paths.
