Futuring Design Education conference will be held on the 10th & 11th
February 2024 hosted by the Department of Design, Indian Institute of
Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) in collaboration with the IDC School of
Design (IDC), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) with
support from Experience Lab, IIT Delhi and India Design Association
(InDeAs)
The conference will bring together Academicians, Industry professionals
and students from various Design Institutes across the country. The
conference will include dialogues on the transformation and evolution of
Design education and how it has adapted to newer challenges. It will
also address the socio-cultural issues and the way Design pedagogy has
adapted and the directions it will take in the future.
The conference will feature presentations by invited national and
international keynote speakers, 3 Panel discussions with eminent
academicians, and 3 working group discussions with industry
professionals, design faculty, research scholars and students. It will
have both podium and poster presentations. The event will also host an
exhibition of posters of Design works from various Design Institutes
across the country.
