{"id":4975,"date":"2014-11-13T12:37:32","date_gmt":"2014-11-13T12:37:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cumulusasso.wpengine.com\/?post_type=working_group&#038;p=4975"},"modified":"2025-05-07T15:51:20","modified_gmt":"2025-05-07T15:51:20","slug":"reveda-research-vectors-in-design-and-art","status":"publish","type":"working_group","link":"https:\/\/cumulusassociation.org\/events\/working-groups\/reveda-research-vectors-in-design-and-art","title":{"rendered":"ReVeDA: Research Vectors in Design and Art"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ReVeDA stands for \u201cResearch Vectors through Design and Arts,\u201d and started as a Working group in 2014<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">born with the intent to develop both a quantitative and qualitative map through the Cumulus Community about the topic of Research in Arts and Design<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The primary aim of ReVeDa is to offer an open space for discussion on research in Design and the Arts, while showcasing experiences developed within the Cumulus Community, outside of any particular taxonomy and methodological dogmatism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Compared to other scientific fields, Research in Arts and Design has a young history and as a consequence, it has a problematic acknowledgment within the academic institutions and the society.
