{"id":8055,"date":"2024-07-25T12:00:41","date_gmt":"2024-07-25T12:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cumulusassociation.org\/?p=8055"},"modified":"2024-07-29T08:48:48","modified_gmt":"2024-07-29T08:48:48","slug":"call-for-proposals-open-electives-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cumulusassociation.org\/calls-for-participation\/call-for-proposals-open-electives-2024","title":{"rendered":"Call for proposals: Open Electives 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Call for Proposals: &#8216;Cultures of Care&#8217; &#8211; Imagining Care through Design: Open Electives 2024 from 09th to 20th December 2024 of NID, Ahmedabad<\/p>\n<p>The Annual Open Electives organised by National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, India (with campuses in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, &#038; Bengaluru) will be held this year from the 09th to 20th December 2024 in on-campus \/ offline mode for the second-year Bachelors students and first-year Masters students of NID at its Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Bengaluru campuses.<\/p>\n<p>The primary theme for this year\u2019s Open Elective 2024 is \u2018Cultures of Care&#8217;- Imagining Care through Design, and we hope that practitioners from various domains will resonate with the idea and send proposals. It is an invitation to explore creative responses on the theme of Care and its interpretations from practitioners across various domains. The elective is envisaged as a trans-disciplinary space where varied vantage points, knowledge systems, philosophies, expertise, inquiries, curiosities and practices converge towards a holistic deliberation on Cultures of Care.<\/p>\n<p>Proposals may be submitted latest by August 15, 2024 and interested faculty members may visit <a href=\"http:\/\/openelective.nid.edu\/\">http:\/\/openelective.nid.edu\/<\/a> for detailed information.
