European Design Leadership Board chosen
In line with the commitment taken in the Innovation Union, the European Commission launches in 2011 the European Design Innovation Initiative (EDII) to exploit the full potential of design for innovation. European Design Leadership Board was be set up to steer the initiative.

Cumulus welcomed 15 new member institutions
During the General Assembly of Cumulus on 21 May 2011 in Paris, France, the Association welcomed 15 new member schools from 12 different countries, including a new country Thailand. Currently, Cumulus counts 176 members from 44 countries.

LONG LIVE 2011
Cumulus's planning is already fully booked until 2017. Our main 2011 meeting will be held in May at Paris France Strate College Designers, with a teaser-conference organized by the Design Research Society and then end of September in US in Denver Rocky Mountain College hosting the ever first event under the umbrella of Cumulus in the USA. I hope 2011 will be as eventful for Cumulus and I have no doubt about it...
