8.00am     Delegates to board buses from hotels
8.30am     Arrival at Wharenui ‘Ngākau Māhaki' - Unitec Marae, Mt Albert
8.45am     Practice of Powhiri [Māori welcome] at Wharenui ‘Ngākau Māhaki'. Want to know more about Powhiri.

9.00 am     Powhiri
10.30 am     Kai  [ Morning tea]
11.20 am     Introduction by  Falaniko Tominiko
11.30         Welcome by Dr Leon de Wit Fourie, Executive Dean, Welcome by Cumulus President - Christian Guellerin and Master Carver Lyonel Grant
11.45         Parallel sessions by a variety of Designers, Art Historians, including Kapa Haka and Poi, regarding the main theme Sustainability, Storytelling and culture - see speakers section of website

1pm         Lunch - Hāngi [ancient New Zealand Māori method of cooking food using super heated rocks buried in the ground in a pit oven ]

2.30m         Parallel sessions
5pm         Delegates to return to hotels
7pm till late    Kiwiana evening meal and entertainment, including Kapa Haka Group, Dances from the Performing Screen Arts department, down town Auckland

1.30pm        Pasifika lunch -Umu and cultural event at Unitec Fale [Samoan thatched roof dwelling]

3pm        Dances & entertainment by Performing Screen Arts department, and local secondary school Pacific dancers
5pm         Close and return to hotels

Wednesday 11 November
Cultural trips around Auckland isthmus, Devonport on a Ferry, or Climb Rangitoto, or go on a wine tour at Waiheke Island
