Course Leader in Product Design
Undergraduate Studies
Full-time permanent contract to start on 1st FEBRUARY 2012

Context:
As part of its ongoing development, the Ecole de Design is keen to reinforce its team by recruiting a Product Design course leader for existing courses.
The post involves working closely with the other course leaders (spatial, graphic and interaction design) to ensure coherency in cross-disciplinary teaching and the teaching framework in Years 2 and 3.

Main activities:
- Coordinating and leading a team of teaching staff
- Supervising syllabus content
- Writing specifications for projects
- Recruiting teaching staff
- Participating in the educational committee
- Monitoring students individually
- Promoting the Product Design course
- Writing student assessments
- Face to face teaching (400-450 teaching hours per year)
- Actively contributing to the school’s educational project

Profile:
Master’s degree in industrial design
5 years minimum professional experience, including 2 years as project leader or team leader
Previous teaching experience essential
Fluent French & English
Well-organized, independent and able to use initiative
Good team worker
.
Contract: Full-time permanent contract to start on 1st FEBRUARY 2012
Pay: 37.7 k€ annual gross + luncheon vouchers + supplementary health insurance
Employee status: “Cadre” (managerial/executive rank)
Collective labour agreement for non-contractual private education
